The Calling of the Conch Shell
I am amazed and blessed at how the Universe, Spirit, is showing me how in tune I am at this time.
So a friend of mine was getting rid of some things, and I noticed this shell in a box. She caught my eye right away, but I thought nah, I don't need to add to any more things, but deep inside, something called me to her.
So I left it.
As I woke the next day, I found myself wondering if it was still sitting in that box on the side of the road. I said to my hubby.
There is this Shell that I have always wanted in a box over there, I was gonna take it and said NAH.
He said to me, Why, if you want it, go get it, Let me tell you it wasn't too short of time that I had my shoes on going across the road to pick this baby up.
The last few days, I have been doing a lot of reflecting and finding myself thinking about the desire to connect better to my Intuition and Soul.
So to make a long story short, I decided to pull a card for myself, to see my energy for the rest of the day, and does it not have this Conch Shell in it!!
As you can see, I decided to look into why this shell is showing up for me so strongly right now, and this is what I found out.
The Conche Shell has been associated in Greek mythology with the sea gods Triton and Neptune, symbolizing the connection between Spirit and the natural World.
This shell represents Infinity, life, death, and rebirth.
The form of this shell mirrors the journey of the soul, winding towards enlightenment and consciousness.
The labyrinth design within this shell symbolizes the realms of the mind and spirit, encouraging introspection and spiritual growth.
Conch shells are known to be a part of ceremonies and rituals to invoke divine protection and blessings.
They are often placed on altars to call on the divine and open the spiritual gateway.
I did not expect this to be the meaning and symbolism of the beautiful shell, but when I read this information, it made total sense as to why she called my name.
Like in the card, she sang to me and I answered.
Thank you to my friend who left this beautiful gift for me to find.
And NO, your ot getting it back.
What a beautiful way to see how life works in mysterious ways.
I feel so grateful.
